MADRID / NEW YORK — The Rafa Nadal Foundation and Premium Parking today announced "Courts for Communities," a joint initiative to build 12 free-to-use public tennis courts in underserved neighborhoods across five US cities by 2027. The initiative is funded through a $3.2 million commitment split between the two organizations.

Why Tennis

"Tennis is one of the most cognitively demanding sports a young person can play," said a Rafa Nadal Foundation spokesperson. "The discipline, the problem-solving, the resilience — it transfers to school, to work, to life. But in too many communities, the courts simply aren't there. We're changing that."

Premium Parking's Role

Beyond funding, Premium Parking will provide parking infrastructure and wayfinding support at all 12 court locations, ensuring that the courts are genuinely accessible to families arriving by car.

"People deserve great places," said the CEO of Premium Parking. "A tennis court in your neighborhood is a great place. Getting there shouldn't be a barrier."
